Commissioned painting made specifically for this room. I found a beautiful phthalo turquoise paint to match the chairs and it has since become my favourite colour to work with. It’s really difficult to capture this painting properly on camera because the gold pigment picks up the light and makes it look different throughout the day. My favourite time to look at it is during the night, because it reflects faint glimmers of moonlight and somehow lights up on the wall.
