TikTok approached me to design some iron on patches for them to use at an interactive event to celebrate their sponsorship of the 2020 Euros. One of those oddities of the pandemic where something was called 2020 despite being in 2021.
Having sustained unnecessary injuries (both emotional and physical) on the football pitch, I wanted to create something that felt quite playful and to remind people that, as big of a part of their life it might be, football is still a game. This is especially true for the extremely amateur-level football that I participate in.
